Rabren or McLendons

I am trying to find out if and where the Rabrens or the McLendons came from in Ireland. Rabren has been known to be spelled many different ways. I am planning a trip to Ireland, but I want to go where my family is from. Any help would be appreciated. I am related to Ira Rabren if that helps.

My family surname is Robins. And the old timers tell of us being "Red Irish" and settling originally in South Carolina. from there the family moved to Alabama and then split up with some going to Arkansas and others to Washington.

My grandfather was also named Ira Robins.
