Clan name

Hey, my surname is Finnegan and I've always been curious as to what clan my family is from. What with my father as well as my paternal grandfather and grandmother deceased, and much of my paternal cousins ignorant of our heritage, I can't very well ask any of them. Does anyone know what clan my family may be from?
