Irish translation of my name

Could my name be translated into Irish? If so, what would it be? And how would you pronounce it? I know Johnston is scottish in origin and I know many Johnstons moved to Ireland at some point, did any of them change their name to Irish? Also I don't know the Irish version of Steven. My middle name is James, do you have middle names in Irish names?

Steven

I am a Primary School teacher in Ireland and we have to translate all names to Irish for use in the attendance book according to legal requirements. I can't translate the Johnston of the top of my head, but John translates to Séan or Shaun if that brings you closer to it, but I'd say it would have changes a good bit once adopted in Irish. Hope that helps.
