Bailey is an English name though there have been Baileys in Ireland for centuries. Bailey is also a synonym for Bellew.

I'm trying to figure out my family plaid. The surname that I follow is Kelly. I was once told that this name fell under the MacDonald clan but personally I have no idea. Also, I would like to verify that this is an Irish line. Can anybody help?

My Blacks left Ireland c1700. Family tradition says they were Scots. Probably from Antrim or Donegal? Is there a concentration of Blacks in those counties now?
