Can Anyone Help Me?

I have been working on my mothers mothers side of the family. I have hit a road block is there any way to get help with this problem?
I have looked at every website so far for any information on the parents of :

Michael Andrew Reid b.23 July 1836 in Boston, Mass.
D. 9 Sep 1907 in Ogden Utah buried at Aultorest Memorial Leavitts Mortuary #1241.
He married Mary Ann Finlay(I think that is the correct spelling) b.5 Feb. 1846 in Nova Scotia, Canada. D. 10 Feb 1916 in Ogden Utah and she was also buried at Aultorest Memorial Leavitts mortuary #1741.
Together they had 7 children:
Thomas Andrew Reid (my great Grandfather) b.1870
Edith L. Reid b.1883
Minnie F. Reid b.1867
Emma Reid b.1868
Walter Reid b.1873
Edith Reid b.1877
Marion Reid b.1879

The person that I am looking for I believe his name was Thomas Reid and was born in Ireland He was married to Mary Everett(i think the sp is off).
And they had Michael Reid. It seems that is where the trail goes cold however. I am not sure if they changed the name or what.
