Hey!

Once again, I'm unable to find what my first name would be in Irish Gaelic.

Anyone know? : Jordanna

This is just a suggestion and a little experiment.....

With "Siúrtán" being the Irish for "Jordan",and with "Áine" being the Irish for "Anna","Annie","Ann" etc.,you could feminize the name in Irish by using it as "Siúrtáine".(pronounced Shoor-tawnya).Therefore your name in Irish would be Siúrtáine Nic Eáin or Siúrtáine Ní Chatháin(double check the surname).I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you speak with a teacher of Irish or any other source who specializes in the Irish language about the name "Siúrtáine",because this name does not actually exist. You could contact Conradh na Gaeilge about this,as they were really helpful with my own name.Write to: Conradh Na Gaeilge,6 Sráid Fhearchair,Baile Átha Cliath 2,Co.Átha Cliath,Éire.and give them your address and e-mail address.
