well thank you both for help but since i asked this question i found a different pronounciation it went something like mac bhaididh so at least i know it is reconized also there is a clan watson in scotland just south east of edinburgh the roslyn chapel seems to be on the south east edge of the clans teritory,i am scots irish or ulster scot on my fathers side my mom maiden name is drake (irish)her mom my grandmas maiaden name is pierce(irish)she used to have a saying we are scots irish dutch and dont amount to much.but she managed to do ouite well because of prohibition especialy after prohibition was apeald my mother was the 1st female bartender in california before that women wernt allowd to serve behind the bar they changed the law and my grandma waisted no time.she had a bar built and put mom to work
